Immersive Factory : QHSE training in virtual reality

QHSE training in VR Immersive Factory

Context

Immersive Factory, a specialist in virtual reality training for health, safety and the environment (QHSE), has collaborated with the Suez Group to deploy immersive training aimed at reducing serious and fatal accidents.

These modules, in the form of Serious Games, simulate workplace risk scenarios and train employees to react effectively.

Objectives

Suez's main objective was to train its teams through a hundred virtual reality solutions in some twenty countries, as part of its Health & Safety roadmap.

To support this initiative, Matts Digital was chosen to provide logistical support, from preparation of the VR headsets to worldwide shipping of the customized bundles.

Results

- Deployment of 84 VR solutions in 20 countries in the first half of 2021.

- Supply of personalized helmets and hygiene kits.

- Technical support with a two-year Matts Digital hotline.

- Effective immersive risk prevention training for Suez employees.

“Individuals understand and assimilate a hazard better after experiencing it. A person retains 20% of what they hear and 90% of what they do, hence the interest of virtual reality in preventing health and safety risks in the workplace. Matts Digital supported us throughout our project and helped us deploy our solutions on a large scale with our customer SUEZ worldwide.”
