This mounting kit allows you to install your SteamVR 2.0 base station on the ceiling or wall, creating a room-scale virtual reality setup.
Before choosing your setup, make sure you have enough space. Room-scale installation requires a minimum play area of 2m x 1.5m. Static experiences have no space requirement.
You will need a screwdriver or drill to install the mounts. Don't forget to peel off the protective film from the panel after mounting the base stations.
1. Mark the location where you want to install each of the mounts on your wall, then screw the mounts into place. When mounting on concrete or drywall, first drill 6.35mm holes and insert the anchors before screwing in the mounts.
2. Turn the base station to screw it onto the threaded ball joint. Do not tighten the base station all the way, just enough to make it stable and properly oriented.
3. Tighten the wingnut to the base station to secure it in place.
4. To adjust the angle of the base station, loosen the clamping ring while carefully holding the base station to prevent it from falling.
5. Tilt the base station towards the play space. To lock the angle of the base station, tighten the clamping ring.
6. Plug in the power cable to each base station.
